Lydia joined Owens Estate & Wealth Strategies Group in 2018, attracted by the opportunity to work in the financial services field, and with the Owens team specifically. "I was drawn to the community oriented, collaborative environment, where multiple minds explore creative solutions for our clients and our business."

Lydia holds Series 7, 9, 10 and 66 securities licenses, assisting Sonia with compliance oversight, account maintenance, trading, and office workflow. As a notary public for the state of California, she also provides notary services.

Previously in her career, Lydia was an optometric technician and billing manager for an optometry practice in Grass Valley and a teacher assistant for medically fragile children at Rosedale School in Austin, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the University of Nevada, Reno, where she was born and raised.

Lydia has lived in Grass Valley since 2012 and loves being a part of the community. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing poetry, and hiking with her dogs.
